The Manxman was a Summer-only express passenger service between London, Euston and Liverpool, in connection with sailings to and from the Isle of Man and was first introduced in 1927. The name was dropped during the Second World War eventually being restored in 1951 but was once again cancelled during 1966. This special limited edition reflects a portion of the train as it was in the late 1950s with the BR Mk1s carrying the later maroon livery introduced towards the end of the 1950s. This special names train pack is a limited edition of 1500 pieces.
